Current projects include a national scheme for the introduction of 'smart cards' to qualified individuals within the Construction industry. The scheme is designed to assist in the reduction of 'illegal working' within the industry whilst providing employers with vital workforce skills and qualification data, enabling a more effective match of personnel to specific project.  The individual card holders will also gain significant benefit as their qualifications and skills will be easily identifiable from the card, thus enhancing their personal marketability.
